On Saturday August 15th at 6 PM White Heron will be hosting the third Bread, Cheese, and Cured meat Festival. Three artisan producers will pair these products with White Heron's handcrafted wines. Vinman's Bakery from Ellensburg will bring their superb baked breads and pastries. Alpine Lakes Cheese will come down from their hillside with a selection of farmstead cheese. And Cured from Leavenworth will bring a series of their cured meats. Chef Dan Carr will come with Cured and see what he can make out of these three elements.
Passing Liberty, a reggae/world rock band, will also be playing and claim their primary goal is to keep the dance floor full. $10 at the door and each of the producers will have items available for sale.
On August 22nd at 7 PM we will have the Refugees here, a supergroup composed of three powerhouse singer songwriters. Soaring harmonies combined with 30 years each of live performances guarantees a powerful show. www.therefugeesmusic.com $25 per person.
Wendy Waldman had several successful albums in the mid seventies and has continued to pen songs for other people including a top forty hit for Whitney Houston. She is also an excellent guitar player. www.WendyWaldman.com

September 6, Sunday 3rd Annual Tomato Fare The Heirloom Tomato Growers of Grant County will once again bring their stunning tomatoes for tasting and selling. So far two chefs have agreed to come and prepare whatever strikes their fancy with heirloom tomatoes. Musically Quichua Machis will return with their rhythmic Andean sounds. The Vaughn Jensen Band will also return with their power blues trio and soaring lead guitar. 5 PM to dark, $25
September 11, Friday, 3rd Annual Farmer Consumer Awareness Day Chef Extravaganza We will bring together three chefs, raw food materials from within 20 miles of the winery, and let the chefs use their imaginations. Oct 3, Saturday, 4th Annual Shellfish Festival Once again we are bringing together shellfish and sausage, a chef, and music for our final shebang of the year. $10 at the door and plates of raw or cooked shellfish available for sale from 11 AM to 6 PM.
