We have entered into the 21 st century, and online reservations are now available! You can also check availability for all of our river trips and find out what dates we run. Along with the new reservation system, we are rolling out our brand new website next month to make information about our adventures easier to find. Don't hesitate to call us to make your reservation if you and the computer don't get along, we'd love to talk to you about your trip. If you have any suggestions for us to make your experience better, please let us know. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality rafting trips in the state!
A big thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, and everyone else who helped make our 3 rd Annual Skagit River Cleanup on March 15 th and 16 th a big success! We collected over 3,000 pounds of garbage and raised $1,000 to help American Whitewater's Northwest river conservation efforts. Want to help out next year? The Wenatchee River is going to have some of the best water levels in 10 years this summer, and dates are already filling up. This river is perfect for both first-time and experienced rafters, with the biggest waves in the state (at highwater , some over 16 feet tall!) in a river with very little hazards and consequences. We offer a full day trip complete with our top sirloin steak BBQ, a half-day trip for those short on time, and an overnight trip which combines the Wenatchee and Methow Rivers for an exciting two-day adventure. Our Wenatchee River trips run seven days a week from now until the end of July. If you are planning on taking a trip on Saturday anytime this summer, you may want to make a reservation sooner than later. We are experiencing the highest number of pre-season reservations in the history of our company! No dates are full as of yet but there are a few time slots that are almost sold out. This is going to be one of those seasons we tell stories about for years to come!
Spring is finally in the air of the Skagit River Valley . Although the tulips are getting a slow start, the brown of winter along the Skagit River is giving way to the fresh green of Spring! Our Skagit River Guesthouse is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing weekend away from the mile-a-minute pace of the city. The river is beautiful, the surrounding North Cascade Mountains are stunning, and the smell of the ancient forest is in the air. We often see deer, bear, bald eagles and salmon among other abundant wildlife on the river and on our 8 acre property, so be sure to bring a waterproof camera! We are running the Upper and Lower Skagit River trips daily from April until the end of October, which both include our top sirloin steak BBQ dinner.
The Upper Skagit River is a great place to get a taste of whitewater (class II and III) as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife as we float right through the North Cascades National Park . This section is great for beginners who want a taste of whitewater and lots of time to play around in the flatwater . For those who want a float trip with no whitewater, but still want to enjoy this amazing river, we offer trips on the Lower Skagit River as well. This river is great for all ages and abilities.
River trips are the perfect way to get your large group or team together for a fun adventure! We can accommodate groups of over 300 people on the Skagit and Wenatchee Rivers , and also have special packages available to make your event extra special. On the Wenatchee River , you can rent out the Riverside Park Pavilion, where we serve our top sirloin BBQ and ice cream right at the take-out. This is a great place for setting up a party, with a large kitchen and serving area, indoor and outdoor dining areas, stage, and bathrooms and changing rooms right there. On the Skagit River , we have 8 acres of private property right along the river, with plenty of room for camping or setting up for a special event. We also have our guesthouse available, which sleeps 12+ and is perfect for corporate retreats, birthday parties, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, and more! Come join us for some fun on the river!
Speaking of fun on the river, we will be hosting our first annual Retro Rafting Party on the Wenatchee River on June 1, 2008 on our 11:00am full day trip. Your guides will be dressed to impress in their favorite old school attire, and we highly encourage you to break out your favorite outfits from the 60s, 70s, or 80s and show them off on the river!
It's going to be a great party, so don't miss out!
